Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto MMI Box Retrofit for BMW NBT CIC EVO iDrive
Our Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto MMI Box offers a seamless way to integrate new features into your existing BMW iDrive System.
Overview
The kit contains a piggyback module which is installed behind the dashboard, and connects to your original stereo and screen.
Once installed simply hold down the MENU button on your iDrive controller to switch to the brand new interface, which contains features such as
- Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
- AirPlay Screen Mirroring
- USB Media Playback
- Audio Equalizer
- Youtube Capability
This is all navigated and controlled via your iDrive controller,
Superior Sound Quality
A feature that sets our MMI Interface above others is that it is capable of using your BMW's Bluetooth Audio feature for sound, most other interfaces rely on an AUX connection which provides a degradation in sound quality.
With our box, both your sound quality and call quality will be as original, and you can use your existing OEM microphone.
*Please note that vehicles without factory Bluetooth Audio will still need to use AUX
Siri and Google Voice are supported so you can navigate without taking your hands off the wheel
Installation
Installation is achieved by connecting our piggyback wiring harness to the rear of your factory radio, and running the accessories such as the WiFi antenna and Display signal connectors to the relevant locations.
We can guide you on how to do this if installing it yourself, or we can organize installation in the South East Queensland area, Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.
Shipping
We have two shipping options, Australia Post Standard & Australia Post Express
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. We do have a processing time of up to 3 business days, generally shorter than this however we test all our products and then need to pack & ship, in very busy periods it may take longer to prepare items. Please note that some configurations may not be readily available, as we cannot always anticipate stock levels if we have a large amount of in-person orders or installations to perform, if they are not readily available the lead time is generally a few days longer
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
